Located in Hobart, Indiana, County Line Orchard is the closest U-Pick apple orchard to downtown Chicago. We have 14 varieties of apples on nearly 4,000 trees. We also have about ten acres covered with many types of pumpkins. We are a seasonal business, and are only open from mid-August to the end of October. During the weekdays we specialize in school tours for kindergarden through third grade. The weekends have a fun, festival-like atmosphere with a children's barnyard, wagon rides, food, and games.
